New Mercies...

His Mercies are new every morning is a line I have heard  over  and over again . Though this is information that I have had with me , I always forget to remember that. I forget to remember that when am late for work and traffic just does not move that His mercies are new every morning and am not being punished for something I did.

I forget about those mercies when I loose my temper, *yeah that's been happening too many times this week, Help a sister Lord*. When all calms down and am like am sure God doesn't want anything to do with me. He still says that His mercies are new every morning.  His mercies are new every morning, when the night before I slept angry at someone. His mercies are new every morning when I lied about being in  a meeting, to avoid speaking to someone... evidently the saint in me left the building a while back, but His mercies are new every morning, and they are not determined by my good behaviour.

Obviously my actions have consequences which we shall not delve in for now.

To think that God loves me just as I am is amazing. This is what Google my friend tells me is the meaning of mercy...
